Our paintings are abstract, meaning what you see in the artwork is as important as our intent to make it. Often we don’t know the whole meaning of our artwork until we hear what it means to the collector. We all respond differently to expressions of color and movement, and we encourage our collectors to tell us what they see. We have learned that our paintings resonate with the heart of viewers and invite exploration. It means so much to us when collectors tell us the stories of what they experience when they spend time with our paintings.

We paint from the inside out, and what we focus on becomes visible on the canvas. Our focus is very intentional. Many people ask how we can paint together. Painting is usually a solo practice. We have been developing a collective visual language for almost ten years now. It takes time to enhance the artwork as the work evolves. It is essential to have a unified vision. We don’t worry if something we’ve painted gets covered, as it simplifies, unifies, and beautifies the painting. We also believe that each hidden layer still releases and adds to the finished piece. We also turn the canvas on the easel throughout the painting process. Studying the painting from each angle ensures that the finished painting is balanced. The time we invest in stepping back, enhancing, and bringing nuance and balance to work translates into a painting that brings a peaceful presence to your home.
WE ONLY USE PROFESSIONAL MATERIALS.
Our canvases are professionally gallery wrapped and triple primed with gesso, and we use the best available acrylic paints. The pigments, mediums, and dry additives we use to create our pieces are archival and made to last for generations. We continue our paintings onto the edges, creating a finished and contemporary presentation. Finished in the back with wire and signed and dated by the artists, our logo stamped in acrylic paint. Not only do professional materials stand the test of time, but the colors are also pure and lightfast. Professional acrylic paints are also flexible when they dry, which helps avoid cracking. We finish our paintings with an archival varnish protecting them from harmful UV rays.
